Judy Youens Gallery

Judy Youens Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Artist John Adelman. A reception for the artist will be held on Friday, September 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. The exhibition continues thru Friday, October 17.

John Adelman of Houston, Texas, creates highly conceptualized outline drawings of various found objects. His technique is unique. Adelman's process for his "nails" series involves dumping nails directly onto a surface and tracing them where they lay. He then meticulously traces each nail, puts them back in their original container and counts and records as he works, wherein he gets the titles for his pieces.
